An easy to make high protein low carbohydrate and low fat pancake batter and makes the most perfect pancakes that are great for breakfast or just for a healthy snack at any time of day.

What’s ingredients are in Mission Nutrition’s Protein Pancake Mix and what do they do?

Whey Protein Concentrate 80% – A fast release Whey with a minimum of 80% protein content.

Egg White Powder – A medium release protein with a minimum of 80% protein content.

Milk Protein 85% – A slow release protein derived from milk, with a minimum of 85% protein content.

Pure Fine Oats – a high energy, low GI slow release source of carbohydrates.

MCT Powder – An easily digested healthy fat, which is a fast release source of energy. These fats cannot be stored as body fat as they are burnt off too quickly.

Skimmed Milk Powder – High in protein but low in fat, and also contains over twenty amino acids.

Flax Seed Powder – A powerful antioxidant that is also high in Omega 3 and natural polyunsaturated healthy fats. Flax Seed can also reduce cholesterol.

Sodium Bicarbonate – Combats acid indigestion and also acts as a cooking agent.

Suggested Use

Add two large 70ml scoops (50g) of Protein Pancake Mix to 150ml of water or milk in your MN Shaker Bottle and shake well.
Using a non stick frying pan, add a little low fat oil of your choice (we recommend coconut oil) and heat on medium heat. Pour in half of the pancake mix and cook gently, turning occasionally until golden brown on both sides.
For an extra treat you could serve with your own fruit pieces or low fat greek yoghurt!
